  16. INTRODUCTION/INSTRUCTIONS

  18.   Welcome yet another file by yours truely, Video Vindicator!  This wonderful
  19. file will hopefully be updated by me every 2-4 months, or sooner if I see an
  20. immediate need.  What it basically is, and does for you, is identify any
  21. account you may have, or pull up... Not only does it do this, but it also
  22. supplies you with quite a few accounts (minus the pw's) to play with...
  23. The first bit of 2 letter identifiers tell you what the specific account is,
  24. so If you decide you need to inquire in the form of an Auto company, that
  25. is possible.  Any of them that start with a (?) are not definant what they
  26. are, but my best guess is what is listed.  Any that say UNKNOWN are fairly
  27. self-explanitory.  Make sure to verify the freshness of this wonderful file
  28. by the date in the upper left hand corner of my title.  This is the sister-
  29. file to the Carding, My Way Trilogy, but can be used as a stand-alone file
  30. for all those striving for a higher awareness through CBI (Although they
  31. have changed their name to Equifax, they will always remain CBI in my heart).

  83.   If you do a pullup which has an inquiry or account with either a ID I don't
  84. have and/or an account/merchant name, please leave me mail so I can update
  85. the next release.  Remember, CBI Accounts are port-specific, so do not
  86. attempt to use any of these ID's at any port outside of their area.  This
  87. would most likely cause the early demise of the account.  The only companies
  88. who issue major credit cards are BB's, FC's, and ON's.  Minor credit cards
  89. are issued mainly by CG's, DC's, HZ's, OC's, etc...  As far as major card
  90. companies are concerned, FC's are the hardest to abuse.

  92. the second (in most cases) seems to refer to a more specific part of the
  93. large group topic... I'll just go through the alphabet as best I can...

  126. MISC COMMENTS
  127. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  128.   Ok, here are some basic thoughts or notes I'd like to make on some of the
  129. information herein.  If the account (the merchant ID) is listed twice, it's
  130. because they have more than one field denominator.  If you are wondering why
  131. some companies have more than one CBI account, it's because one is for the
  132. credit verification department (which will show up in the inqueries) and one
  133. for the individual stores and/or the main branch that issues the card (the acnt
  134. which the information is listed on the pull).  I think that some of the dept
  135. store cards (DC, CG, HZ, etc) are actually controlled by the Sears Financial
  136. Network and can be treated like Discovers.  When you notice a bank with the
  137. same four digits as another bank in it's Visa or MC, this is probably due to
  138. the fact it contracts out for it's cards.  The larger will be the true bank,
  139. but the issueing and account are controlled by the one listed.

  142. COMPANY ACCOUNTS/MERCHANT NAMES

  144.   One note on all the below accounts.  If the merchant name appears in all
  145. CAPS then it has not been verified, and is just a retype of the CBI 8 char
  146. identifier.  If anyone has any leads to the true identities of these comps,
  147. please notify me.  Also, new to this release is the FIRST 6 area.  This
  148. contains the first 6 digits off of any MC/Visa/AmEx/Disc that I pass over,
  149. so by referencing those number, you can always find out what the issuing
  150. bank is.  One note, I included the 6 digits in a '(' so it makes searching
  151. easier... Simply search for (xxxx that way you won't get stuck on acnts that
  152. match that number.  The last 2 I simply put on for the hell of it, and rarely
  153. match other cards.
